Dr. Frederic Sonstien, MD, says his practice is dedicated to the thoughtful evaluation and treatment of patients with closed head injuries and injuries to the spine.

Treatment is based on evidence-based medicine and careful evaluation of the patient's history, physical findings, and diagnostic studies, with no rush to painful invasive procedures.

Dr. Sonstein is a Board Certified Neurosurgeon who trained at Harvard University. He has been in practice for over 30 years and has specialized in the treatment of head and spine injuries for the past 17 years. Dr. Sonstein has served as an Expert Witness in matters related to the Spine, Brain, Back, and more. Dr. Sonstein's services include serving as a treating or non-treating expert, providing a second opinion, performing an IME, preparation of rebuttal reports, preparing a narrative report, or appearing in court. His clinic is located in Englewood.
